The title of my afternoon talk is Wikileaks, Net Neutrality and Freedom on the Internet

Here’s the description:

People around the world are fighting for a free and open internet. This session will discuss the major threats against freedom online and why it is so important that those interested in media reform join this fight. These threats include online censorship, global internet filtering, corporate and government control of the internet in the case of Wikileaks. We will discuss the implications of the FCC’s Net Neutrality ruling and the Comcast-NBC merger on people’s access to affordable and open internet. Mera will also discuss how these media reform topics can be advocated for in the context of internet rights as human rights.
